Common Questions About Recycling Compliance.

Does this cover SB 1383's resident education requirements?

We provide the resident education materials and signage SB 1383 calls for, and you keep them posted and available for residents. We'll walk you through the rest of what applies to your community.

How does the Blue Bag program work with a single chute?

Residents bag recyclables in blue liners and use the chute as usual. Our team stages carts, refills dispensers, and checks for contamination.

Can you sort onsite to reduce contamination?

Yes. Our onsite sorting service provides loose and per-item sorting that follows local separation rules, including San Francisco's Refuse Separation Ordinance. We're a Certified Zero Waste Facilitator in the City of San Francisco.

Do you remove medical sharps?

We remove readily observable needles from the waste stream and let your team know. Ongoing hazardous waste programs are out of scope.

How do we find out what our city requires?

Ask us. Requirements vary widely, and we've done the legwork in the markets we serve. We'll tell you what applies to your community and help you meet it.
